Praying through Proverbs, Chapter 7 – Search our Hearts

Praying through Proverbs, Chapter 7 – Search our Hearts

Dear Heavenly Father,

Search our hearts and show us if there are any wicked ways we need to address (Psalm 139:23-24).

Please expose our sins to each other so we can leave darkness behind us in order to have wholeness, unity, and light in our marriage and in our relationship with You (Ephesians 5:11-13). Help us to offer each other grace as we encourage one another to overcome sinful giants in our lives (Luke 6:41-42).

As we read Your Word and grow deeper hearts for Truth, please set us free from the ensnarement and captivity of sin, and give us a desire to honor You with every piece of ourselves (Mark 12:30).

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. Proverbs 7:1-3, KJV

My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you. Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. – Proverbs 7:1-3, NIV
