May We Walk This Path Together – Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please help us to grow. Help us hold fast to our repentance that we may not fall back into sin. May we walk in Your wisdom and not the wisdom of this world which is designed only to deceive. May You keep us safe from those who would try to rob us of Your truth.
We must be humble servants whose only strength is from You. Please show us the areas of our lives where we lack. Give us a focus, the determination, and the perseverance to run.
Help us to walk together in faith rather than waiting for motivation to move us. We know by Your word what we should be doing, and we know what we should be changing, but we sometimes lack courage. Father, may You show us the way and teach us to hold fast to Your truth so we may have a hope that will endure. May we walk this path together in joy and great peace, upholding one another in love.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
