Strength For Today and Bright Hope For Tomorrow – Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Marriage is often full of transition. From the day we became man and wife we have experienced changes in a big way. Where we live, our families, our bodies, our jobs… and all the adjustments that come with growing together as one.
Everything’s changing with time. This world is moving beneath our feet and we’re moving with it.
Some days the changes come easy, but other days we struggle to adjust. And so we ask that You keep us rooted and grounded in Your Word.
Teach us to be content with whatever situation we find ourselves in. Teach us to exercise faith when we can’t see the path before us. Remind us to be joyful through the growing pains that come with testing and trials.
May we be able to see the beauty that comes with every season in life. Give us strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
