Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Help us to discern the difference between the urgent and the important, to prioritize moments that nourish our relationship and our walk with You. As Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens.” May we embrace this truth, finding a proper balance in our daily lives.
Guide us to cultivate a marriage where time together is cherished and protected. In our busyness, let us not overlook the quiet moments of connection that knit our hearts closer. Teach us to be intentional in our planning, leaving room not just for tasks, but for laughter, love, and togetherness.
In moments of stress and overwhelming schedules, remind us to turn to You, our ultimate source of peace and order. Help us to lay down our anxieties at Your feet and trust in Your guidance to lead us through each day.
Lord, we ask for the patience and understanding to support each other in our individual responsibilities, while always making our relationship a priority. Instill in us a spirit of cooperation, where managing our time is a shared endeavor, strengthening our marriage and deepening our love. Let us remember that every second is a gift from You, to be used wisely and lovingly.
