Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Young love is a beautiful thing. Looking back at our courtship, we’ll never forget the moments we shared. We’ll never forget that excitement of getting to know each other, and the days we spent hand in hand. There’s something about those days that were unlike any other. Those are memories we’ll treasure for life.

But there is a different kind of beauty in every season of our life, and we’re grateful for the memories we’re making today. Thank You for the love that we share, right here and right now. Thank You for the thoughtful things that we say to each other; for those quiet times when we’re holding hands; for date nights; for the intimate moments we share; for hugs so warm, you know that you’re loved; for a friendship that’s grown over time, for this journey, we’ve taken together…

Thank You, Lord, for this marriage, these moments, and the memories, we’ll treasure for life.
