We Must Say No To Sin –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for keeping us safe in Your hands, and close to Your heart.

We’re thankful for your Word which reminds us how important it is to stand guard of our home, to watch over our marriage, and to protect our hearts from the enemy. We can’t do this alone, Lord. We need Your help. We need Your power and grace. We need Your strength. We need You to lead us in wisdom to safety.

Temptation has a way of enticing us into the shadows, to make sin seem harmless — that it is a secret that will never be found out. This is when we must pray. This is when we must say “no” to sin. May our light so shine that no shadow can exist before us.

Help us to be able watchmen who fiercely protect our marriage, and guard it against all harm.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
