In Your Sovereign Hands –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We recognize that just as clay is shaped and formed under the skillful touch of the potter, so too are our lives and marriage in Your sovereign hands.

Lord, we pray for the gentle reshaping of our hearts and minds. Let Your Word be the water that softens the hard places in us, making us pliable and receptive to Your touch. As a potter centers the clay on the wheel, we ask that You center our marriage on You, keeping us balanced and focused on what truly matters.

In times of challenge and change, remind us that the Potter’s hands are at work, even when we can’t see the final design. Give us the faith to trust in Your plan, knowing that You are crafting something beautiful from our lives together.

Grant us the grace to yield to Your will, embracing the transformation You bring. Let our marriage be a testament to Your craftsmanship, displaying not only our joy in the good times but also the strength and perseverance You provide in trials.

Lord, in Your wisdom, remove what is unnecessary and add what is needed to make our union strong and resilient. Help us to support and encourage each other in growth, celebrating each new layer of depth and beauty You reveal in us.
