Ruth: Echoes of Christ, Our Kinsman Redeemer
Over the course of four weeks beginning Tuesday, February 20th, join me as we explore the profound significance of the unknown kinsman, uncover the rich symbolism of his shoe, and connect the dots to the Ten Commandments.
We’ll look back at the lives of Biblical characters like Lot, Perez, Judah, and Tamar, seeking to understand their roles in God’s story. Questions like ‘Where does Naomi fit into all this?’ and ‘Why is the timing of these events so crucial?’ will guide our exploration, as we uncover the beauty and depth of these Biblical narratives.
Karissa is also back to bless us each week with her insightful videos. If you would like more information on our study, visit our website.

Focused On Your Purpose –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
May we consistently extend gentleness to all, embodying peace and consideration — treating each other with tenderness and respect. Regardless of whether our days are filled with joy or burdened by life’s challenges, let us remain focused on Your purpose. May our deeds always reflect Your teachings, not swayed by our circumstances, but grounded in Your Word.
Let the way we speak be filled with thoughtfulness, our deeds with kindness, and our thoughts with purity. May we be attentive listeners, slow to speak, and patient at all times. Our eyes should always look to You, that we may be imitators of what is good. You, Lord, are holy and just, embodying gentleness and compassion in all Your ways.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.- James 3:16-18, KJV

For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. – James 3:16-18, NIV
