To Speak From The Heart – Today’s Marriage Prayer
Join Our Current Bible Study
Ruth: Echoes of Christ, Our Kinsman Redeemer
Over the course of four weeks beginning Tuesday, February 20th, join me as we explore the profound significance of the unknown kinsman, uncover the rich symbolism of his shoe, and connect the dots to the Ten Commandments.
We’ll look back at the lives of Biblical characters like Lot, Perez, Judah, and Tamar, seeking to understand their roles in God’s story. Questions like ‘Where does Naomi fit into all this?’ and ‘Why is the timing of these events so crucial?’ will guide our exploration, as we uncover the beauty and depth of these Biblical narratives.
Karissa is also back to bless us each week with her insightful videos. If you would like more information on our study, visit our website.

To Speak From The Heart –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We ask that You help us to speak from the heart with love and honesty, reflecting the grace You’ve shown us. May our words be a fountain of life to each other — patient, kind, and without envy or boastfulness. Teach us to listen with empathy, to understand not just with our minds but with our hearts too.
In moments of disagreement, grant us the humility and wisdom to respond with a gentle answer, turning away wrath. Let our words build up, not tear down, for Your Word says “let no corrupt talk come out of our mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear”.
Lord, in our journey together, guide our conversations. May they be seasoned with the salt of Your Word, full of grace — fully displaying Your truth. Help us to remember that our speech reflects the condition of our hearts.
Bless our marriage, Father, with words that affirm, encourage, and express the deep, abiding love we share. Let our speech be a testament to Your work in our lives, drawing us closer to each other and to You.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
