A Living Testimony Of Our Faith – Today’s Marriage Prayer

Ruth: Echoes of Christ, Our Kinsman Redeemer
Over the course of four weeks beginning Tuesday, February 20th, join me as we explore the profound significance of the unknown kinsman, uncover the rich symbolism of his shoe, and connect the dots to the Ten Commandments.
We’ll look back at the lives of Biblical characters like Lot, Perez, Judah, and Tamar, seeking to understand their roles in God’s story. Questions like ‘Where does Naomi fit into all this?’ and ‘Why is the timing of these events so crucial?’ will guide our exploration, as we uncover the beauty and depth of these Biblical narratives.
Karissa is also back to bless us each week with her insightful videos. If you would like more information on our study, visit our website.

A Living Testimony Of Our Faith –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, united in marriage, seeking Your guidance to live a life that reflects the beauty and strength of our faith. Lord, let our marriage be a shining example of Your love and grace.
In every word and action, may we embody the love of Christ, showing patience, kindness, and understanding to each other. Help us to forgive swiftly and love deeply, as You have forgiven and loved us. May our unity be a testament to Your unending grace and a beacon of hope to those around us.
Guide us, O Lord, in our journey together, so that our relationship glorifies You in all things. Through trials and triumphs, let our bond strengthen and our faith deepen. May our love for each other mirror Your love for us – sacrificial, unselfish, and enduring.
Grant us the wisdom to navigate life’s challenges with grace and the strength to support each other in times of need. May our home be a haven of peace and a sanctuary of faith, where Your presence is felt and Your name is praised.
In moments of joy, let us remember to give thanks to You, acknowledging Your hand in every blessing. And in times of difficulty, remind us that You are our rock and our redeemer, the source of our strength and hope.
Above all, dear Lord, let our marriage be a living testimony of our faith in You, inspiring others to seek Your love and truth. May our lives together honor You and lead others to the beauty of a life committed to Your will.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. – Colossians 3:12-14, KJV

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. – Colossians 3:12-14, NIV
