A Lamp To Our Feet And A Light To Our Path – 
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We ask that You help us to be an encouragement to one another so that we may hold fast to the truth of Your Word, for it is the foundation of our faith and the path of righteousness. It’s so easy to be swayed by the lies and deceit of the world, but we must resist temptation and instead fix our eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith.

Your Word is like a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. It guides us, helps us to discern right from wrong, and gives us the strength and courage to stand firm in Your love.

But we know that living according to Your truth is not always easy. It requires discipline, self-control, and a willingness to deny ourselves and serve Christ. It means going against the flow of the world and sometimes facing persecution and hardship.

But the rewards of living according to Your truth are immeasurable. By it, our hearts and minds are transformed, so that we may serve You with great joy and peace.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
