A World That Often Feels Hostile – Today’s Marriage Prayer
I’m using the next month to get our next Bible Study done. In the meantime, I redid one of our older studies The Full Armor Of God. I added more content, better graphics, and thought provoking questions. I won’t be going through this one with you as I want to focus on the new study, but if you are looking for a study to work on during my break, it will keep you busy.
It’s available for free in the members only section of the blog. If you are a subscriber, you can find the link to it at the bottom of the emails you have received.

A World That Often Feels Hostile –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, seeking Your grace and guidance as we navigate through a world that often feels hostile and uncertain. Lord, You have called us to be a light, even amidst trials and tribulations.
Grant us, O Lord, the strength to stand firm in our faith and in our love for one another, when the winds of adversity seek to unsettle us. May our marriage be a sanctuary of peace, a fortress of compassion and understanding, shielded by Your divine protection.
Help us to embody Your love in every word and action, serving as a reflection of Your grace to those around us. Teach us to lean not on our understanding but to trust in Your sovereign plan, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You.
In moments of disagreement, remind us of the covenant we made before You—to love, to honor, and to cherish each other, forsaking all others, as long as we both shall live. Let this vow be the anchor that holds us steadfast, a light that guides us back to each other and to You.
We pray for all married couples facing the challenges of this world. May they find solace in Your love and strength in their unity. Together, may we all shine brightly in the darkness, living testaments to Your everlasting love.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. – Colossians 3:12-14, KJV
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. – Colossians 3:12-14, NIV
