Marriage Prayers

We Give You Our All – Today’s Marriage Prayer

I’m using the next month to get our next Bible Study done. In the meantime, I redid one of our older studies The Full Armor Of God. I added more content, better graphics, and thought provoking questions. I won’t be going through this one with you as I want to focus on the new study, but if you are looking for a study to work on during my break, it will keep you busy.

It’s available for free in the members only section of the blog. If you are a subscriber, you can find the link to it at the bottom of the emails you have received.

It’s also available at Amazon. Click here if you would prefer to pick up a copy.

We Give You Our All

We Give You Our All –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today with humble hearts, seeking Your guidance and blessings for our marriage. As Charles Spurgeon once said, “God has joined us together, and He will keep us together if we trust Him.”

We give You our all, our hearts, our minds, our strength, and our souls. We promise to love, honor, and cherish each other, in sickness and in health, for as long as we both shall live.

We ask that You would continue to make us into the people You want us to be. To strengthen our love and deepen our commitment to one another. Help us to be more patient, kind, and forgiving, and to always put each other first.

Grant us the wisdom to navigate the challenges that we may face in our marriage, and the grace to persevere through them with Your help. May our love for each other continue to grow, and may it always be a reflection of Your surpassing love for us.

We pray for a marriage blessed by You, full of love, laughter, and faith. And in all things, may we glorify Your holy name.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer. – Romans 12:9-12, KJV

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. – Romans 12:9-12, NIV
