Ready For Every Good Work – 
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We ask that by Your grace, You make us ready for every good work. Strengthen our faith that we may trust You completely, even in our darkest moments, and to lean on Your strength when we feel weak.

May we remember each day to seek You in Your Word and in prayer so that we are rooted and grounded in You. May we have a faith that can rejoice in tribulation, and the courage to trust that You will always be the same faithful God You have always been.

Our marriage vows aren’t merely for us, Lord. They are also a symbol of our dedication to You. Take every part of this marriage, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health to do as You will.

And may we be faithful to You all of our days on this earth.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
