Love Affects All We Do And Say -Today’s Marriage Prayer
We Are Currently Underway On Our New Study:
Jacob: Pursuing God With Steadfast Faith & Unyielding Courage
This new study will continue until August 20th. If you would like to join us, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the journal on Amazon. As we go through Jacob’s life story, chapter by chapter, we’ll see God’s plan of salvation, Christ’s work on the cross, and lessons rich in life application.
Karissa will be back to bless us with her insightful videos. Together, we look forward to a deep dive into God’s Word and fostering an even closer fellowship among us all. Your participation is the heartbeat of this group, and I can’t wait to see how God uses our collective thirst for wisdom to draw us nearer to Him and to one another.

Love Affects All We Do And Say –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Love isn’t just a simple word. Love affects all we do and say. It makes us different than the world.
It’s forgiving someone when they let you down. It’s giving up your right to be right in the heat of an argument. It’s stepping aside so someone else can shine. It’s friendship. It’s being a cheerleader and a trusted confidant. It’s a place of forgiveness that welcomes one home, and arms they can run to in the midst of a storm. It’s being self-controlled in all we say, do, and think. It’s grace.
We’re always growing, and we’re always learning. We try and we fail, we bless and we wound, but in it all, and through it all, we’re both learning what it really means to be a couple.
Help us to be willing servants who look to You for guidance and truth. Help us to take our eyes off of the world, away from ourselves, and on to Your perfect plan.
Give us a hunger for truth and a thirst for righteousness so that we might do Your will. Help us to be a husband and wife who bring glory and honor to You.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, KJV
____________________________
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, NIV
