Prayer for a Thriving Marriage – Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You asking for Your abundant blessings on our marriage. We began our journey together with great strength and joy, and it is our deepest desire to finish even stronger, rooted in Christ.
Some couples go through life barely communicating, hardly enjoying each other’s company, not holding fast to what they were given, and missing out on the abundance of blessings that marriage can bring. But we want more for our marriage — much more.
Lord, we want to be able to laugh together, to pray together, and to enjoy this journey we’re on. As long as we’re living, we will live to serve You. Help us to keep our friendship alive, keep the romance alive, and keep this spark between us alive. May we always find a reason to smile.
Grant us patience, understanding, and a love that grows deeper each day. Help us to be quick to forgive and slow to anger, always seeking reconciliation and unity. May we be a reflection of Your love to the world, showing kindness, compassion, and grace to one another.
Strengthen our bond, Lord, and guide us through the challenges we may face. Let us lean on You in times of trouble and rejoice in You in times of happiness. May our marriage be a testament to Your faithfulness and glory.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
