That We May See Clearly – 
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord, we thank You for having a plan for each of us. By Your grace, we grow from spiritual infancy into mature believers who can overcome this world. Though the journey is filled with both triumphs and tears, You remain merciful, patient, and faithful through it all.

Your Word calls us to eternal life, which means we’re called to serve You with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind. We are to put away all sin and be loving, compassionate, and tenderhearted toward one another.

We ask, Lord, that You guide and direct our steps. It’s not always easy to turn away from sin, and sometimes we don’t even realize areas in our lives that need change. Please open our eyes, Lord, that we may see clearly.

Some habits are hard to break, and making the right choices can be a struggle, but when we do, the challenges lessen, and the rewards are great as You bless our small sacrifices.

We pray for Your help in serving You as Lord over our marriage.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
