Our Light And Momentary Struggles –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Teach us to fix our eyes not on the past, but to move forward with hope and faith. Help us to trust that You have plans for our future that are good, even when we face trials and difficulties. Your Word assures us that our present struggles are light and momentary compared to the eternal glory that awaits us, a glory far greater than we can imagine. So, we ask for Your strength to persevere through challenges and to grow by Your grace through each one. Remind us that the choices we make today are not just for today—they shape our future and have eternal significance.
Lord, keep us mindful that each decision we make carries the weight of eternity. Help us to choose wisely, to invest in our marriage, our family, and our walk with You in ways that honor and glorify You. We are reminded of the incredible joy promised to those who faithfully serve, and we long to experience that joy as we walk the path You’ve set before us.
From the moment we were born again, we embraced Christ not only as our Savior but also as the Lord of our lives. He is the Lord over our marriage, our home, and all we do. We have chosen to follow Him in truth, picking up our cross daily and surrendering our will to His. Help us to remain steadfast in that choice, knowing that a life centered on Christ is one of true purpose and peace.
Remind us also, Lord, that the choices we make have a profound impact on our marriage. If we desire a strong, Christ-centered union, we must be intentional about the decisions we make today. Teach us to choose love, humility, and forgiveness. Give us the wisdom to act in ways that build each other up and strengthen the foundation of our marriage.
We place our marriage in Your hands, Lord, and trust You to lead us as we seek to serve You faithfully.
