Your Truth Remains Unshaken –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, asking for Your guidance and strength as we face the shifting winds of deceitful teachings and worldly pressures. There are times when we are bombarded with messages that challenge the foundation of our faith — we’re told the Bible is merely a relic of history, that You don’t exist, that following our conscience and conviction is naïve, and that the values we hold dear are outdated in this ever-changing world.
In those moments, Lord, give us the strength to stand firm. Help us remember that You are the same God You’ve always been — unchanging, constant, and faithful. Your Word is truth, enduring through all generations, and Your wisdom is as relevant now as it ever was. Though the world may change its views, Your truth remains unshaken.
We desire to build our marriage on the firm foundation of Your Word. Let us be more concerned with what You say than with the opinions of the world around us. Even when it feels unpopular, help us cling to what is right, to what is good, and to what honors You.
But we know, Lord, that we can’t do this on our own. We need Your grace, Your strength, and courage to resist the pressures to conform to this world. Help us to tune out the noise of those who would pull us away from You, and instead, attune our hearts to Your voice, following Your guidance in every aspect of our lives and our marriage.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
