Facing Important Decisions

Facing Important Decisions –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, acknowledging our need for Your wisdom as we face important decisions in our marriage. Whether it’s decisions about our family, finances, career, or future, we recognize that we cannot navigate these paths on our own. Your Word tells us that if we lack wisdom, we should ask You, and You will generously give it to us. So, Lord, we humbly ask that You grant us wisdom and discernment in every choice we make together.

Help us to seek Your will above all else, knowing that Your plans for us are always good. Guard our hearts from making decisions out of fear, pressure, or confusion, and instead, give us clarity and peace in the choices we need to make. Remind us to listen for Your voice and to trust in Your perfect timing, even when the path ahead seems uncertain.

Father, we ask that You unite us in our decisions. Give us the ability to communicate openly and honestly with each other, and help us to respect one another’s thoughts and feelings as we seek Your direction. May we be patient as we wait for Your guidance, knowing that Your wisdom will lead us on the right path.

We surrender every big decision into Your hands, trusting that You are faithful to provide for us and guide us. May our choices reflect Your truth and bring glory to Your name. Strengthen our faith as we lean on You, and help us to walk in confidence knowing that You are with us every step of the way.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. – Proverbs 3:5-7, KJV

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. – Proverbs 3:5-7, NIV
