Illuminated By The Truth Of Your Word –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your endless mercy and abundant grace that sustain us each day. As we walk this path of faith together, we ask for Your strength and wisdom to move forward with hearts fully surrendered to You. Help us to release the burdens from our past, those heavy weights we’ve carried for too long—the regrets, the mistakes, the hurts. We know these things no longer serve us and only hinder the growth You desire in us. Give us the courage to leave them behind, trusting that You are the One who holds our future.
Lord, teach us to place our hope in You, not just for today, but for every tomorrow. While we may not know what lies ahead, we do know that Your presence will be with us, guiding and protecting us in every circumstance. Help us to rest in the assurance that we are never alone because You are our constant companion, walking with us through all the highs and lows.
Please remind us to pray without ceasing, for we know that prayer is the lifeline that keeps us connected to You. It is through prayer that we find strength, clarity, and peace for the road ahead. May we never neglect this powerful gift, but instead seek You daily for the wisdom and grace we need in our marriage.
Guide our steps, Lord, and keep us on the straight and narrow path, the one illuminated by the truth of Your Word. When we are tempted to stray to the right or the left, please draw us back to the light. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your perfect guidance, knowing that Your plans are always for our good.
