Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Lord, You are our Shepherd, and in You, we lack nothing. You are the provider and protector of our marriage, leading us beside quiet waters and giving us rest in the green pastures of Your word. Teach us to find peace in You, and help us foster a marriage filled with contentment and trust.
Guide us, Lord, along paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. As we walk together through the journey of life, may we honor You with our actions, our words, and our love for one another. Lead us in Your truth, that our marriage may reflect Your holiness and grace to the world around us.
Even when we walk through the valleys of hardship and trial, we will fear no evil, for You are with us. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort and protect us. In times of difficulty, help us to lean on each other and, more importantly, to lean on You. Strengthen our marriage so that no trial can break it, and remind us that Your presence is always near, guiding us through every dark valley.
You prepare a table before us, even in the presence of life’s challenges. Your blessings overflow in our lives and in our marriage. Let us always remember to come before You in gratitude, recognizing that every good and perfect gift, including each other, comes from Your hand.
You anoint our marriage with Your grace, and our cup overflows with Your love. May we continually pour out that love into each other’s lives, showing kindness, patience, and understanding, just as You have shown us.
Surely Your goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives. As we walk together through this life, may our love be a reflection of the love You have for us. And may we dwell in Your house, abiding in Your presence, together as one, forever.
