To Rise Up In Prayer –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

In times like these, when illness and loss seem to surround us, our hearts are burdened with the suffering of those we know and even those we may never meet. We see friends, family, and communities affected by pain and uncertainty, and we’re reminded of the fragility of life. In these moments, rather than letting fear or discouragement take root, let us be moved to rise up in prayer, turning first to You, our source of comfort and strength.

Lord, we thank You that through prayer, You strengthen our faith. In the act of lifting others up, we are also lifted, drawing closer to You and finding our own hearts renewed. As a couple may our faith grow abundantly as we strive to walk in Your ways, carrying each other’s burdens and interceding for those who need Your touch. Thank You that the prayers of a righteous person avails much. Help us to be steadfast, Lord, knowing that our prayers do indeed make a difference.

Teach us, Father, to see prayer as an act of love—a selfless labor where we come alongside our brothers and sisters, loving them as we love ourselves. Your Word calls us to serve one another through prayer, to lift others up as though their needs were our own. And so, we ask for blessings where there is lack, healing where there is brokenness, and miracles where all hope seems lost. Let us be persistent in our prayers, not out of duty, but out of compassion and genuine care for those who are hurting.

Lord, fill our hearts with Your love so that we are moved to pray individually as well as together with sincerity and conviction. May we never underestimate the power of coming before You on behalf of others. Use us as instruments of Your peace, love, and hope, that we may see lives transformed, bodies healed, and spirits strengthened.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
