Prepare Him Room: 28 Ways to Embrace the Spirit of Christmas

Hey, ladies! I’d love to invite you to join our upcoming Advent series, Prepare Him Room: 28 Ways to Embrace the Spirit of Christmas. Unlike our usual Bible studies, this one is more of a devotional style that encourages you to slow down and make space for what matters most—Jesus. Each day offers inspiring stories, scripture readings, simple challenges, and questions designed to draw you closer to Christ.

Over the course of four weeks, we’ll go through the book together beginning November 26th. Once again, we will have weekly videos, and printable chapters.

Take a moment amidst the holiday hustle to focus on His presence. Discover practical ways to reflect Christ’s love in your home, relationships, and daily life.

Let’s make this Christmas a true celebration of our Savior.

Steadfast In Every Trial

Steadfast In Every Trial –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

I’ve often heard, “Don’t pray for humility unless you’re ready to face challenges. Don’t ask for patience unless you’re willing to endure trials.”

Lord, we’re not eager for tribulation or hardship, yet we know that these struggles will shape our souls for the better. In marriage, every couple faces highs and lows, and each trial demands humility, patience, perseverance, and unwavering faith.

Though we don’t welcome trials, we recognize their purpose. They refine us, empty us of our own pride, and bring us closer—both to each other and to You. So, we choose to be grateful for them.

Prepare our hearts for whatever lies ahead. Make us steadfast in every trial, using each challenge to strengthen us and deepen our faith in You.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. – James 1:2-4, KJV

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. – James 1:2-4, NIV
