Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts for the gift of marriage. Thank You for weaving our lives together and giving us the blessing of sharing life side by side. We know that this union is more than just a partnership – it’s a covenant shaped by Your hands. Help us to honor it by rooting ourselves in Your love and relying on Your wisdom each day.
Guide us in our words, that they would be seasoned with grace and understanding. May our conversations bring peace, not discord, and may kindness be the language we speak. Teach us to listen to each other, truly seeking to support rather than judge. Let respect be our foundation, so that whatever we face, we face it united.
We pray that our marriage would be a light to others, showing Your love and faithfulness. May we always value the blessing we have in each other, cherishing the big and small moments alike. Keep us ever mindful of this treasure, seeking each other’s good above our own. Guard our union, Lord, and let our love reflect Your perfect love for us.
