Over the course of four weeks, we’ll go through the book together beginning November 26th. Once again, we will have weekly videos, and printable chapters.

Prayer Changes Everything –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of prayer, a blessing that draws us closer to You and to each other. Prayer changes everything—it clears our thoughts, strengthens our faith, and gives us a way to love each other deeply by lifting one another up to You.
We’re so grateful for the privilege of coming into Your presence, knowing that You hear us when we pray. Help us never to take this gift for granted or to forget how important it is for our marriage.
Your Word reminds us that “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). Lord, teach us to pray with hearts fully surrendered to You. Help us to make prayer a daily part of our lives—a constant connection that carries us through every moment, big or small.
Show us how to pray for each other in ways that build each other up and glorify You. Give us words when we can’t find them ourselves and remind us to pray when we’re tempted to let it slip. Help us to sense when one of us is feeling weak, so we can come together in faith, trusting that You are the source of our strength.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. – James 5:16-18, KJV

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. – James 5:16-18, NIV
