To Speak The Truth In Love –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, hand in hand, with hearts united, seeking Your wisdom and guidance for our marriage. Lord, we ask for the courage to communicate openly, honestly, and lovingly. Your Word teaches us to speak the truth in love, and we long to reflect that in the way we relate to one another.
Father, help us remove any masks of pretense that may creep into our hearts. Teach us to be transparent—to share our thoughts, fears, and dreams freely with each other. Grant us the grace to embrace vulnerability, knowing that in our weakness, You are our strength.
Guide us, Lord, to speak truthfully and lovingly. Let our words build bridges that connect us, not walls that divide us.
Grant us the wisdom to listen with empathy, valuing our spouse’s feelings as a precious gift. Help us to be quick to listen and slow to speak, fostering understanding and care.
Bind our hearts together with a love that cannot be broken. May our communication reflect Your grace and serve as a testimony of the relationship You desire to have with us.
