Each day offers inspiring stories, scripture readings, simple challenges, and questions designed to draw you closer to Christ.

Once again, I have weekly videos, and printable chapters.

Take a moment amidst the holiday hustle to focus on His presence. Discover practical ways to reflect Christ’s love in your home, relationships, and daily life.

Let’s make this Christmas a true celebration of our Savior.

Grow Closer Together

Grow Closer Together –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Your design for our marriage is that we’re no longer two, but one, and so it’s our desire that day after day we grow closer together.

So many things that begin as mere distractions can slowly draw us apart if we let them. Help us to stand guard, to keep a close watch, and to be ready to fight for our marriage. Remind us to nurture the bond that we share by spending time together and communicating our thoughts. Give us the wisdom to notice if we’re drifting apart, and show us what we can do to fix it.

We ask that You keep any thoughts of separation from entering our minds. Even a passing thought of the single life can be a sign of a marriage in trouble.

Remind us to make our marriage a priority. May we put each other before our friends, our interests, our families, and ourselves. Help us to dream together, play together, pray together, be together, and most importantly grow strong in faith together.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. – Matthew 19:5-6, KJV

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate. – Matthew 19:5-6, NIV
