To Remember The Promises We Spoke –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

In moments of joy and in seasons of struggle, help us to remember the promises we spoke with hearts full of love and hope.

We ask for Your strength to remain faithful, not only to each other but also to the covenant we made with You. Teach us to cherish the words, “for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health,” and to live them out daily with grace and humility.

Lord, help us to stand firm when storms arise, when emotions waver, and when life becomes overwhelming. Remind us that love is more than a feeling—it’s a commitment to honor, serve, and forgive, just as You have loved us unconditionally.

May we never take our vows lightly or forget their significance. Instead, let them be a constant reminder of the love that holds us together, the patience that sustains us, and the forgiveness that renews us.

When we are tempted to give up, give us courage. When we feel weak, give us strength. When we are hurt, give us hearts that seek healing rather than retaliation. And when we grow weary, remind us of Your faithfulness and the grace You pour into our lives each day.

Help us to love with endurance and to grow stronger through each trial. May our marriage be a reflection of Your love—a love that perseveres, a love that sacrifices, and a love that remains faithful to the end.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
