Work In The Hearts Of Our Children –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the blessing of children, for the joy they bring into our home, and for the lessons they teach us every day about grace, forgiveness, and unconditional love.

Lord, we lift up our role as parents. We know that this is a sacred calling—a responsibility that stretches us, humbles us, and draws us closer to You. We ask for Your wisdom to guide our decisions, big and small. Help us to discern what is best for our children, to teach them Your truth with gentle hearts, and to model a faith that is lived out in our everyday moments.

When we are weary, give us strength. When we are frustrated, fill us with patience. When we are unsure of what to do next, remind us to lean on You, trusting that You are always working for the good of those who love You.

Help us to be unified as we parent—standing side by side, encouraging one another, and showing grace when we fall short. May we never let the busyness of life or the struggles of this season pull us apart. Instead, help us to keep our hearts knit together in love, so that our children can see Christ reflected in our marriage.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would work in the hearts of our children. Draw them to You. Give them a hunger to know You more, a heart to love You deeply, and a desire to walk in Your ways. Let our home be a place where Your name is honored, where grace is abundant, and where love never runs dry. We trust You with the future of our family, knowing that You love our children even more than we do.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
