A Living Picture Of The Gospel –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord, we desire that our marriage would be a living picture of the Gospel—a testimony of sacrificial love, grace, and redemption.

Teach us what it means to be crucified with Christ. Help us to turn away from the world and the desires that seek to pull us from Your truth. May we die to selfishness and pride, taking up our cross daily as we choose to walk in step with Your Spirit. May we lay down our own desires for the good of one another, living in a way that honors You and points to the truth of the Gospel.

When life feels heavy and the world’s voice grows loud, remind us that our hope is not in the fleeting things of this life but in the eternal promises of Christ. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, remembering that through His death and resurrection, we’ve been set free. Let that freedom be reflected in our marriage—in the way we love, the way we serve, and the way we forgive.

Lord, we ask for strength to live out Your truth in every area of our lives. May we not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Help us to build our home on a foundation of grace and truth, always anchored in Your Word.

Lord, keep us faithful to You and to the covenant we’ve made with one another. May our marriage always reflect the beauty of the Gospel—Your love in our weakness, Your truth in our hearts, and Your redemption in our lives.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
