A Foundation Of Trust — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
In a world that often measures success by grand gestures, remind us that faithfulness begins in the small things—in the quiet moments, the unseen sacrifices, and the everyday choices that shape our marriage.
Your Word in Luke 16:10 teaches that “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” Help us to honor You in the little things—in the way we speak to each other, in the way we listen, and in the way we serve with love and patience. May we never take for granted the power of a kind word, a gentle touch, or a simple act of grace.
Teach us to be faithful in both seasons of plenty and seasons of challenge, knowing that our small daily choices build a foundation of trust and love that lasts a lifetime. When we feel weary or unnoticed, remind us that every act of faithfulness—no matter how small—is seen by You and carries eternal significance.
Lord, help us to cherish the little moments, for they are the building blocks of a strong and joyful marriage. May we always choose faithfulness, love, and gratitude in all that we do.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. — Luke 16:10, KJV
Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. — Luke 16:10, NIV
