A Home Filled With Joy

A Home Filled With Joy — Today's Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today, we hold to the truth of Psalm 118:24: “This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”Lord, may our home be filled with joy that overflows, laughter that lifts our spirits, and a peace that can only come from You.

Help us to create an atmosphere where Your love is felt every time we are together, in every conversation, and every challenge we face together. May we choose joy, even in the midst of trials, knowing that You are our source of strength and that Your presence is our greatest blessing.

Let our home be a place of refuge and refreshment, not only for us but for all who enter. May our love reflect Your goodness, Your grace, and Your kindness to one another. Remind us to cherish the simple moments—a warm embrace, a smile, or a prayer whispered together.

Lord, teach us to see each day as a gift and to embrace the beauty of today rather than worrying about tomorrow. Let our hearts be light, our burdens be lifted, and our love be strengthened by the joy that comes from knowing You.

We give You our home, our hearts, and our marriage—we ask that You fill them with Your everlasting joy.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
