To Serve You First — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of this marriage and the love that brought us together. In the midst of our busy lives and daily responsibilities, help us to remember that our highest calling is to serve You first.
Teach us, Lord, to seek Your will above our own—to honor You not only in our words but in how we love, forgive, and serve one another. May our marriage reflect the heart of Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve.
When selfishness tries to take root, remind us that true joy is found in surrender. When pride creeps in, remind us of the humility of Jesus. When we feel pulled in different directions, draw us back to center—back to You.
Let everything we do as husband and wife be done as an offering to You. Whether it’s the quiet moments or the difficult ones, help us to walk in step with Your Spirit, keeping You at the center of our home.
We pray that our love for each other would grow deeper as our love for You grows stronger.
