When Two Become One Voice in Prayer — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of this marriage—this partnership You’ve brought together with purpose and love. As we face decisions, both big and small, help us to seek You first. We don’t want to rush ahead or pull in different directions. We want to walk side by side, with hearts that are open to Your will and to each other.
Give us the wisdom to listen well, the patience to understand, and the humility to admit when we’re wrong. When we disagree, remind us that we’re not opponents—we’re a team. Help us find peace in knowing that You’re guiding us, even when the path isn’t clear right away.
Fill our conversations with grace. Help us to pray together often and trust that You’ll lead us to unity—not just in our choices, but in our hearts.
