Love is More Than Words — Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank You for the love You’ve poured into our lives. We know that love is more than words—it’s shown in how we treat each other, especially in the small, quiet moments. Help us to be kind—not just outwardly polite, but truly kind from the heart.
When stress creeps in or misunderstandings happen, remind us to pause. Teach us to respond with gentleness instead of frustration, to listen before we speak, and to extend grace like You’ve shown to us. Let our words bring comfort, not criticism. Let our actions reflect Your goodness, even when it’s hard.
We want our marriage to be a safe place where kindness is the rule, not the exception. Where we champion each other, forgive quickly, and never grow tired of doing good. Soften our hearts toward each other, Lord. Help us to walk in step with Your Spirit, bearing the fruit of love and kindness in all that we do.
