When We Feel Discouraged - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Some days feel heavier than others. We get tired—emotionally, physically, even spiritually—and it’s easy to feel like we’re just going through the motions. But even in the middle of that, You’re still here, still working, still holding us up.
When discouragement creeps in, help us not to shut down or turn away from each other. Instead, help us to draw near—to talk honestly, to pray together, to sit in silence if that’s all we can manage.
Remind us that it’s okay to have hard days. It doesn’t mean we’re failing—it just means we’re human. And You meet us right there in the middle of it, offering new strength for today.
So please renew our hearts, Lord. Lift our eyes. Fill us with fresh hope—not just for what’s ahead, but for what You’re doing right now, even in the parts we don’t yet see.
We don’t need all the answers. We just need You—and each other.
