Something More Enduring - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
There are days when we feel the strain—when patience wears thin, emotions run high, and strength feels out of reach. But even in those moments, we know You haven’t left us to carry it alone.
You meet us in our weakness—not to leave us there, but to grow us through it. You call us not just to lean on You, but to walk with You—to be shaped, refined, and strengthened by Your Spirit at work in us.
So when we feel overwhelmed, help us remember that weakness is not the end of the story. It’s the place where You begin to build something deeper in us—something more enduring than our own resolve.
Help us to encourage one another in those moments—not with shallow comfort, but with truth and love that leads us forward. Let our marriage be marked by grace and by a shared desire to grow more like You, even when the path feels slow.
Thank You that Your strength is enough to carry us through and to carry us beyond.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
