Guarded by Peace - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
So often, the world around us feels restless. Pressures and distractions push their way into our lives, and at times our hearts feel pulled in too many directions. But You promise us something greater—Your peace that passes all understanding.
We pray that Your peace would settle over our marriage like a gentle covering. Let it guard our hearts when worry creeps in and guide our minds when confusion rises. Teach us to turn to You first, before fear or frustration take hold.
May our words to one another be softened by peace, our decisions shaped by peace, and our home filled with the calm assurance that You are near. When storms come, let Your peace remind us that we’re not standing alone—we’re standing with You and with each other.
Thank You for being the steady anchor that never fails. May we rest in that truth today and every day.
