Choosing Kindness Daily - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Every day we have choices. We can choose harsh words or gentle ones, pride or humility, self-focus or love. Sometimes the busyness of life makes it easy to forget how powerful those little choices really are.
Help us, Lord, to clothe ourselves in kindness—especially toward each other. Let patience rise when frustration tries to take over. Let compassion fill the spaces where selfishness wants to creep in. Give us tender hearts that choose to build up instead of tear down.
Remind us that kindness isn’t weakness, but strength—Your kind of strength that changes lives and transforms hearts. May our marriage reflect that kind of love, so that when people see how we treat one another, they catch a glimpse of You.
