Living With Eternity in View - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
It’s easy for us to get caught up in the small frustrations of daily life—dirty dishes, busy schedules, unmet expectations. But when we step back and look at our marriage through the lens of eternity, we’re reminded that these moments are fleeting, while the love we build in You will last forever.
Help us to keep our eyes fixed not just on what is seen, but on what is unseen: the faith we’re growing, the character You’re shaping, and the eternal story You’re writing through our lives together. May our marriage reflect heaven’s values here on earth—a love that is patient, sacrificial, and rooted in hope that does not fade.
Teach us to treasure what truly matters so that when others see our marriage, they see more than two people—they see Your glory at work.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. — 2 Corinthians 4:18, KJV

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. — 2 Corinthians 4:18, NIV
