Joy in Serving One Another - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank You for reminding us that marriage isn’t about keeping score—it’s about serving in love. Too often we get caught up in who did what or who’s carrying more of the load, but You’ve called us to something better: the joy of giving ourselves to each other.
Teach us to find delight in the little acts of service—a meal prepared, a kind word spoken, a burden shared. Help us to see that every moment of serving is an opportunity to show love, not just to each other, but to You.
When we’re tempted to grow tired or resentful, renew our hearts with joy. Remind us that serving isn’t a duty—it’s a gift. And may our marriage reflect the kind of love that gives freely, cheerfully, and with gratitude.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
