Dear heavenly Father,

You’ve told us that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from Your mouth. If that’s true for us as individuals, it’s just as true for us in marriage. A strong marriage doesn’t come from good intentions or sheer effort—it comes from time in Your Word.

Help us to open the Scriptures together and let them shape our hearts. Teach us to listen, not only to each other, but to You speaking through Your Word. When life feels busy, remind us that we can’t afford to neglect the one thing that gives us strength.

Let Your Word be our anchor when storms come, our guide when decisions are hard, and our daily bread when we grow weary. May our marriage be rooted so deeply in Scripture that everything we do flows from the truth we’ve hidden in our hearts.
