Help Us Walk in Honesty - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for being a God of truth, One who never misleads, never deceives, and never hides what is good. We ask that You help us walk in honesty within our marriage. Teach us to speak with sincerity, to communicate with openness, and to approach one another with a heart that desires what is right.
When we are tempted to withhold our thoughts, soften our hearts so we can speak gently and clearly. When difficult conversations arise, give us the courage to approach them with humility rather than defensiveness. We ask that You help us build trust through truthful words spoken with grace.
Lord, let honesty guard our unity. Where transparency is needed, show us the way. Where fear or insecurity has led to silence, bring healing and confidence. May our commitment to truth reflect our commitment to You—steady, genuine, and grounded in love.
We ask that You guide our communication so that honesty becomes a source of peace in our home and a foundation that strengthens our marriage each day.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
