Remind Us How Far We’ve Come

Remind Us How Far We’ve Come — Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear heavenly Father,

We thank You for the road You have already walked with us. We ask that You remind us, when days feel heavy or progress feels slow, of how far You have brought us. Help us not to measure our marriage only by what still needs work, but also by the growth, healing, and faithfulness You have already given.

When discouragement whispers that change is too small or that effort goes unnoticed, lift our eyes to see Your hand at work. We ask that You help us remember answered prayers, lessons learned, and moments when Your grace carried us through what once felt overwhelming.

Lord, let gratitude take root where frustration tries to settle. May remembering Your faithfulness renew our hope and strengthen our resolve to keep loving well. Help us to see our story through Your eyes—not as unfinished failure, but as ongoing grace.

We ask that our marriage be encouraged by this truth: You are not done with us yet. Continue Your good work, Father, and help us walk forward with confidence, patience, and trust in You.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
