Dear heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of marriage and for the daily opportunities we have to reflect Christ to one another. You have called us not only to love, but to serve. And yet, we confess that serving is not always easy. Sometimes we want to be noticed. Sometimes we want to be served instead.

Teach us to follow the example of Jesus. Help us lay down pride and take up humility. When small tasks feel unnoticed or unappreciated, remind us that nothing done in love is wasted in Your sight. Shape our hearts so that service becomes a joy rather than a burden.

Lord, show us the needs we might overlook—the quiet fatigue, the unspoken stress, the simple desire to be understood. Give us eyes to see and willingness to act. May we serve not to keep score, but to strengthen the bond You have given us.

Guard us from resentment. If we begin to feel overlooked, lead us back to You instead of letting frustration grow. Help us speak honestly, yet gently, and always with a desire for unity.

Let our marriage reflect the heart of Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve. May our daily acts of kindness build trust, deepen affection, and create a home marked by grace.

We ask You to keep softening our hearts toward one another and to make service a steady rhythm in our life together.
