Dear heavenly Father,

Your Word tells us that by wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established. Through knowledge its rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. We come before You today asking that You would build this kind of home in us.

Give us wisdom for the choices we make each day. In our words, in our priorities, in the way we handle stress, money, responsibilities, and relationships, teach us to walk carefully. Keep us from careless patterns that weaken trust, and lead us instead in the paths that strengthen our marriage.

Lord, establish our home with understanding. Help us not only to hear one another’s words, but to understand each other’s hearts. When we see things differently, give us patience. When one of us is weary, give the other compassion. Let understanding steady us in moments when misunderstanding would otherwise create distance.

And Father, fill the rooms of our home with what is truly precious. Not merely comfort or success, but peace, faithfulness, kindness, purity, and reverence for You. Let our home be rich in the things that matter most.

Shape the atmosphere of our marriage so that it reflects Your wisdom. May our home be a place of safety, truth, and grace. Build something lasting in us, Lord—something strong, quiet, and full of Your presence.
