Not Growing Weary in Doing Good — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Your Word reminds us not to grow weary in doing good. Marriage is often built in quiet ways — in patient responses, in steady faithfulness, in small acts of care that may go unnoticed by others.
When the work of loving well feels tiring, renew our strength.
Lord, help us remain faithful in the daily choices that sustain a marriage. When patience feels stretched, give us fresh grace. When encouragement feels overdue, help us continue speaking it. When kindness feels unreturned, remind us that every good seed still matters.
Guard us from the slow weariness that can creep into the heart over time. Instead, renew our perspective. Help us remember that love grows the same way a harvest grows — quietly, steadily, often unseen at first.
Teach us to keep sowing what is good: gentleness in our words, faithfulness in our commitments, forgiveness when mistakes happen, and gratitude for the life we share.
Father, strengthen our hands so we do not give up. Let perseverance shape our marriage. And in Your perfect time, may the seeds of patience, kindness, and faithfulness bear a rich harvest in our home.
We trust You with the work You are doing in us and through us.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
