Waiting on You for Renewed Strength — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Your Word tells us that those who wait upon You will renew their strength. Today we come before You, aware that marriage is not sustained by our energy alone, but by the strength You provide.
When we feel tired—emotionally, mentally, or physically—renew us.
Lord, in the middle of responsibilities, conversations, and the steady pace of daily life, help us not to run ahead in our own strength. Teach us to pause, to look to You, and to wait with trust instead of striving.
When patience feels thin, strengthen us. When love feels stretched, refill us. When discouragement settles in, lift our eyes again.
Father, help us walk without growing weary in our commitment to one another. Let endurance quietly shape our marriage. Teach us to keep showing up with kindness, even on the days when it requires more effort.
And when we feel like we are running on empty, remind us that You are able to restore what has been drained. You are faithful to sustain us.
Help us lean on You together, so that our marriage is strengthened not by our own effort, but by Your renewing grace.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
