Let Everything Be Done in Love — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Your Word tells us to do everything in love. Not just the big moments, but the small ones too—the everyday choices that quietly shape our marriage.
Help us live this out.
In our words, let there be love.
In our tone, let there be kindness.
In our actions, let there be care.
When we’re tired, remind us to choose love.
When we’re frustrated, lead us back to patience.
When we feel misunderstood, help us respond with grace.
Lord, teach us that love is not only a feeling, but a steady choice we make again and again. In the ordinary rhythm of our days, help us reflect Your love in the way we speak, the way we serve, and the way we respond.
Guard us from reacting out of emotion alone. Instead, let love guide our responses—even when it takes effort, even when it requires humility.
Father, shape our marriage so that love is not occasional, but constant. Let it be present in the quiet moments, the busy moments, and even in the difficult ones.
May everything we do—every word, every response, every decision—be marked by love.
